Nokia's new colourful "Mural" has launched in the States on AT&T - only to be yanked within days for technical problems.

Although said to be "optimized with fast 3G and HSDPA connectivity", problems with the device's firmware have apparently left the new handset incapable of working on AT&T's 3G network.

Shown here in this quick promo video, when available, the Nokia Mural is offered for $49.99 with a 2-year AT&T service agreement after $50 mail in rebate.

With a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, a 2-megapixel camera, up to 16GB expandable memory and external music keys, the phone also gets illuminating cover colours - in blue, red, green, orange, purple and pink - which light up when the device is opened or closed or when a call or text is received.
