In the States, Belkin has announced the launch of the "Home Base" that brings a simple solution to set-up a home sharing network and share hardware.

The Home Base means those with wireless networks set up, can print to a single, shared printer from anywhere in the home.

There's also the option to attach an external hard drive to one of Home Base's four USB ports to save and share music, pictures, and videos within the network as well as access PS3 and Xbox 360 files.

Home Base will automatically back up connected computer's files to a connected external hard drive, while its automatic sharing feature means it can automatically upload your new photos to a Flickr or Picasa account.

The Home Base is now available in America for $129.99, with no news of a UK launch just yet.

UPDATE: The Home Base is now available in the UK and Europe, priced at £99.99.
