Archos unleashed their latest internet tablet on the world today, the Android-powered Archos 5.

With the choice of either a flash drive or conventional hard disk drive, the 4.8-inch, 800 x 480 pixel resolution device gets all the benefits of Android paired with all the features you expect from Archos.

With Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an FM receiver and transmitter, the inclusion of Android opens a whole new realm of possibilities for the internet tablet. The only omission is its own 3G option, however it can be tethered to a mobile phone via Bluetooth.

All the details are over in our news story (link below), but here is a glorious gallery of the new device in action. Coming your way soon, prices range from £199.99 for the 8GB flash version, right up to £349.99 for the 500GB hard drive version.
