O2 has developed its very own iPhone application that enables you to check your account from your handset. The app, which is available right now on the app store, contains "comprehensive information on every part of a customer's account", says the company.Both Pay & Go and Pay Monthly customers can use the app to check their tariff details, see how much of their inclusive allowance of texts and calls has been used, and see their latest bill or any bolt-ons that are on their account.
"Our customers want to stay in control of how much they spend whenever they like. The My O2 iPhone app allows them to do this with the minimum of fuss" said Sally Cowdry, marketing director for O2. She added: "We wanted to make this information as easy to view as possible. This is all part of our commitment to a great customer experience and we'll be looking at rolling this out to other phones in the near future".
To access the app you'll need a web connection - which comes as standard with iPhone contracts on O2. It's available free, right now, from the app store.
