Sony Ericsson is the latest company mercilessly teasing press and consumers with a product launch, as a new teaser page has gone live over at putyourearsincontrol.com.

"Come back here on the 21st of September to see how the way you listen to music changes forever", beguiles the manufacturer.

The "world first product launch announcement" is to be revealed via webcast which will let viewers "discover this ground-breaking new product, see a live demo and ask questions about its innovative new technology".

These bold claims cannot surely relate to just another Walkman phone, so we're agog to find out more, as we know you will be too. Be sure to tune back in on the 21st and we'll bring you all the news.

  • This must be the new motion controlled earphones that play and stop the music when put in and taken out your ears. Also can control the handsfree of the phone by taking one earphone out.

Its sounds like a gimick but they work very well.
