Sygic launches "Mobile Maps" for Android phones

Sygic has launched "Mobile Maps", its turn-by-turn voice guided navigation software for phones running Google's Android operating system.

Mobile Maps supports 44 countries across Europe, boasting "smooth map movement", quick input options, high speed route calculation and instant re-routing.

Features include a landscape/portrait rotation sensor, automatically returning to the map after a phone call, auto day and night views, lane assistance, POIs and car and bike options.

The app can be bought directly from the Sygic online store priced at a not-to-be-sneezed at 79.99 euros (£70.75 at today's rates) in Europe.
