With no related announcement from Apple at its recent iPod launch event, fresh rumours are hitting the Web regarding the company's much-rumoured tablet PC.
News from Taiwan suggests that Apple will launch the iTablet, as it's been dubbed by some, next February, with supply deliveries rumoured for December, meaning a January announcement could be likely.
"The tablet PC features a 9.6-inch screen, finger-touch function and built-in HSDPA module, and adopts a PA SEMI processor chip and long lasting battery pack, selling for between $799 and $999", reports CENS.com.
PA Semi is the "boutique" chip-make Apple recently acquired, while other suppliers are named as DynaPack for batteries (300,000 units a month on order, apparently), Wanshih for cables and Wintek - which supplies the iPhone's touchscreens - for the 9.6-inch displays.
