LG HS200 portable projector spotted
Replaces the HS102

Replacing LG's HS102 ultra portable projector comes the HS200, its second-gen device.
The HS200 has had a design tweak, making it very easy on the eye compared to its square forebear.
Weighing only 800g and measuring 122 x 183 x 60mm, the HS200 is pitched into the ultra portable projector market, ideal for those giving presentations on the fly.
LG tells us that the impressive performance is down to "LED technology" and a Twin XD Engine, giving a 2000:1 contrast ratio off a brightness of 200nits.
A native resolution of 800 x 600 (4:3 aspect ratio) can be beamed up to a maximum 120-inch screen size.
Connectivity receives a boost around with back, with HDMI, VGA, RGB and 3.5mm audio in and outputs. The HS200 also packs in the now obligatory USB readers, so you can feed it files without a computer with a DivX logo boasting compatibility with that format.
Pricing is yet to be confirmed, be we heard it will be around £500.
