The hit television series Family Guy is coming to a games console near you this autumn

The hit television series Family Guy is coming to a games console near you this autumn.

2K Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive and Twentieth Century Fox announced today an exclusive agreement to develop and publish a video games based on the television series currently showing on BBC2.

The game, of the once cancelled and then re-commissioned show, promises to bring the world of Peter, Brian, the tyrannical tyke Stewie and all of Quahog, Rhode Island to current generation consoles later this year.

Details on the game are still sketchy however the developers have suggested that the action/adventure game will focus on the lovable oaf Peter Griffin, his world domination-obsessed son Stewie and their talking, martini-drinking dog, Brian as they wreak havoc in many of the same locations depicted in the animated series.
