Packard Bell has announced the Viseo 200T Touch Edition - a 20-inch touchscreen monitor with multitouch technology. The company says that it's expecting multi-touch to rapidly expand, and wants to give mainstream exposure to the tech. The Viseo 200T has two built-in stereo speakers, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 5ms response time, 50,000:1 contrast ratio and a VGA and a DVI port. Combined with Windows 7's multi-touch features, it'll allow you to control your computer with pinches and swipes across the screen.
Packard Bell says: "Since the touch-screen technology closely replicates the familiar hands-on experience of everyday object manipulation, people with low or no computer literacy find using touch screens easy and more rewarding".
The monitor will be available from mid October and should cost in the region of £200. Hardware, Monitors, Packard Bell, Packard Bell Viseo 200T
