Motorola enlists Vivienne Westwood for new phone

30 March 2004 16:18 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Motorola has announced it is to produce a limited edition mobile phone complete with couture cover, designed by Vivienne Westwood. The exclusive handset has been designed in celebration of the Vivienne Westwood exhibition at the V&A museum and will rival the designer's usual range of high-fashion clothing in its exclusivity, with only 99 phones being produced.

The outer shell of the V600 has been designed by Westwood, while the inside offers screens and additional content by her. The Motorola V600 Vivienne Westwood limited edition handset will be available exclusively through Vivienne Westwood stores and the V&A museum shop.

The phone will be available from April at a RRP of £300.
