Datz Music Lounge closes down
£99 box set music download service goes offline

Datz Music Lounge, an all-you-can-eat music subscription service that launched in the UK in October 2008, has closed down.
Although bad news for those that forked out the £99 fee for the service, what's worse news is that unscrupulous retailers appear to be still flogging the box set the service was sold in.
A visit to the Datz Music Lounge site offers a blank page and the message, "Datz Music Lounge is currently closed, sorry".
However, a Google Shopping search shows the service still being merrily sold by various retailers, one of which - until very recently - was apparently Sainsburys, as reports the "Bitter Wallet" blog.
There appears to have been no official statement from the company behind the service as to its closure, or any news of refunds to those who opted for the year's downloads for £99.
