LittleBigPlanet is to be released as a "Game of the Year" edition with new content say the makers of the game.The PS3 exclusive will come with 18 never-before-seen levels developed by select LittleBigPlanet fans, free downloadable content packs with themed levels and costumes, and exclusive access to the upcoming ModNation Racers online beta.
The LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year edition will also include seven free downloadable content packs to expand SackBoy’s wardrobe, deliver new action packed gameplay, and offer a larger variety of “Create” materials.
Packs include: Metal Gear Solid Level Pack – featuring the “Paintinator” ($5.99), Metal Gear Solid Costumes, Monsters Costumes, Monsters Pack, History Costumes, History Pack, and Animals Costumes.
There are currently over 1 million playable levels created by fans, however developer Media Molecule is keen to push that the 18 levels have been specifically commissioned and "monetarily compensated" to design a completely new environment for the LittleBigPlanet world.
