We showed you press pictures of HANNSpree's cuddly animal televisions back in July, but here's a few pictures from the IFA show floor of what the cute little tellies look like in the flesh. Or in the fur, perhaps. The Polar Bear, Giraffe, Camel and Zebra have a 19-inch 1440 x 900 display, 6000:1 contrast ratio, 16:10 aspect ratio, pair of 1W speakers and response time of about 5ms. They have 2 HDMI ports, component, composite, scart and VGA ports for the full range of connectivity options.
There's also a smaller Giraffe and Polar Bear, and a Panda and Elephant at an 8-inch, 800x480 size. Those have a 500:1 contrast ratio, 25ms response time and 256MB of internal memory. They have slots for various different types of memory card, and a pair of 2.5W speakers.
There's no pricing or availaiblity info that we can find, but if we hear anything, we'll let you know. Home Cinema, Televisions, Dad, HANNspree, IFA2009, Photos
