A special edition version of the Sony Ericsson W595, that celebrates the work of renowned tattoo artist Ed Hardy, will soon be available exclusively from the Carphone Warehouse.

The Ed Hardy handset is covered in 15 tattoo inspired motifs based on street culture and lifestyle couture, including skulls, roses, hearts, animals and daggers.

Content-wise, there's a selection of pre-loaded wallpapers that have been specially designed and stand-by themes that also incorporate the icons.

The new phone will be available this month from free on contract or for £149.95 on a pay as you go basis.
