TomTom might have pushed back the launch of the TomTom Car Kit until October but that didn't stop Pocket-lint grabbing some snaps of the new docking station for your car and iPhone at IFA 2009 in Berlin, Germany.
As you can see from the shots we took the Car Kit will have a sturdy windscreen sucker on it, allow you to position the iPhone at virtually any angle and really lock the phone into place with that easy to push clip.
The "TomTom Car Kit" that offers a loudspeaker so you can hear the directions, the ability to place the iPhone on your windscreen and a charging option so you aren't out of juice at the end of your journey.
It will also come with an enhanced GPS receiver, power cables and built in speaker, along with an audio-out jack and microphone to allow you to use it as Bluetooth speakerphone.
The kit is rumoured to cost £100 although TomTom has yet to confirm the UK or US price.
The iPhone app costs £59.99 in the iTunes store.
