Samsung is showing a proof of concept television at IFA in Berlin, Germany, that shows just how thin TVs could get in the near future.

The model, which doesn't even have a product name yet, is just 6mm thick and will make anything that you put next to it decidedly fat.

For those interested the screen technology is side-lit LED.

Expect the ultra-thin LED TV to hit the shops sometime in 2010.
