Samsung has announced the launch of new players into its "Beat" range and here's some hands-on pics of the R0 that is said to be "a study in practicality with tactile keys for easy operation in the dark".

DivX-compatible, Samsung claims easy "drag and drop" operation for the new player that offers Samsung's DNSe 3.0 (Digital Natural Sound Engine) tech for "the highest possible sound quality".

In 8GB and 16GB capacities, we're looking at a Q4 launch for this device - but no more detail yet as regards pricing, etc. We will keep you posted.
