MSI have added another notebook to their line-up of ultra-skinny machines in the UK in the form of the X600.

Recently hitting the shelves in the USA, the X600 will be appearing in the UK throughout September in two versions.

The first comes with a 500GB hard drive and an Intel SU9600 processor running at 1.6GHz and comes with an external optical drive for £799.

The second drops down to a 320GB hard drive and the Intel SU2700 processor running at 1.3GHz and no external drive for £599.

The X600 joins the X320 and X340 in the series of slim and light notebooks, bringing a 15.6-inch 16:9 aspect display, with a resolution of 1680 x 1050-pixels.

You'll also get 4GB of RAM, the ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4330 3D graphics card, Dolby-certified speakers and a choice of either black or silver.

The sleek dimensions give you a footprint of 392 x 255mm, with the depth ranging from 9mm at the slimmest to 25mm at the fattest.
