Sony has introduced three televisions - the BRAVIA V5800, W5800 and Z5800 - which all have triple-HD tuners built in, meaning that you won't need to plug in anything to be able to watch Freesat and all its HD programming.

The tuner can handle DVB-S2, DVB-T and DVB-C content, meaning terrestrial, cable and satellite TV broadcasts will all be available on the television. They're also all CI+ ready for slotting in smartcards for subscription channels.

The televisions have also got Sony's Bravia image processing engine and the company's Motionflow tech, along with a handful of eco features for saving power. They come packed to the rafters with HDMI and USB ports, and some are also DLNA certified, for pumping content to the televisions from your laptop.

The Z5800 is top of the range, carrying a 200Hz refresh rate, 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, small bezel and an "idle tv" mode for reducing power consumption. The V5800 has four HDMI ports and DLNA certification, and the W5800 has a 100Hz refresh rate and 100,000:1 contrast ratio.

There's no pricing or availability info, but as soon as we hear anything further, we'll let you know.

Update: Sony has clarified to Pocket-lint that the BRAVIA W5810 and Z5800 will be coming to the UK. We're not sure why we're not getting the DLNA model, and why the 5800 gets a 10 added to it, or what that means.
