Sony shows off new EXMOR camera sensors

IFA 2009: Plans football matches in low-light

2 September 2009 16:47 GMT / By Duncan Geere

Sony has announced that it'll be holding seven football matches across the world to show off the low-light capabilities of its new EXMOR sensor.

The matches will be held in twilight in South Africa, Australia, Argentina, Italy, France, Spain and England.

The amateur teams will be handed Sony's newest Alpha cameras to capture images of the games, which Sony hopes will come out perfectly.

The event will kick off on 22 September 2009, and will then move around the world following dusk.
