Samsung Corby phone goes for the kids

Samsung isn't forgetting the kids it seems with the launch of a new handset designed to appeal to "today's young mobile users"

Called the Samsung Corby (S3650), the handset, due in Europe later this month, will sport a touchscreen display and, you guessed it, have a strong focus on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.

Samsung is hoping two-tone diagonal contours and bright colours such as jamaicanyellow, cupid pink, minimal white, and festival orange will appeal to kids looking to look "cool".

On the spec side the Corby will sport a 2.8-inch QVGA screen and quad band connectivity with EDGE support.
