New pictures of the LG OLED have turned up on the company's Flickr stream giving users a glimpse into what to expect from the company's first OLED outing when it goes on sale later this year.

Although initially only available in Korean and interview with LG's vice president of OLED Sales and Marketing, Won Kim, which we reported on back in June did confirm that the TV would be getting a global roll-out:

"During the period of Dec 2009-Jan 2010, our customer will launch 15-inch OLED TV in Korean market. Thereafter global roll-out follows," Kim told OLED-info.com at the time

LG is expected to show the new television at the annual IFA tradshow in Berlin at the beginning of September.

Organisers of Germany trade show IFA are also promising that the "OLED screens on show in Berlin will include not only experimental units but also the first mass-produced models."

The new model, which will go up against the XEL-1 from Sony and no doubt other OLED TV expected to be announced at the show will go on sale in Korea in November.
