Leica has said that it will announce a "new range" of cameras on 9 September.
"On September 9 2009 Leica will announce a collection of ground breaking new products designed and manufacturers for all photographers, novice and professional alike," says the voice in the teaser video.
The video doesn't really give anything away as to what the new offering may be.
Leica latest launch camera, the monster 37.5-megapixel S2, is expected to arrive in October, and cost a whopping £16,000.
Incidentally 9 September is also the same day as the expected Apple iPod announcement and the launch of The Beatles: Rock Band. We doubt the three are connected.
