Tech21's iPod touch and iPhone cases using gooey but tough protective substance d3o have been shown strutting their stuff on camera.

The substance, which first came out in 2007, has slowly found its way into a number of products including bike jackets and even footballs.

After watching Dragon's Den, mobile review, compare and buy website Recombu.com wanted to see the new case in action so took a visit to Tech21's new offices to see it in action.

Will the iPod touch withstand being thrown at a wall at high speed and then off a building? Watch the video to find out.
