At Orange's Bond Street flagship store

Orange has finally launched the LG GD910, better known as the watchphone, which it's been teasing all year. The wristset went on sale first thing Thursday at Orange's Bond Street Station flagship store.
The queue doesn't look like it was overwhelming, but there was a small crowd of gadget enthusiasts. From the quotes taken by Orange, it seems like most people were there on behalf of someone else. Sophie from London said: "I have been queuing since 8am to collect one for my boss".
Raul from Spain was there for the same reason: "I'm buying one for my boss who lives in Germany - he's 75 and likes to spend his money on gadgets". Given the £500 price tag, perhaps it's not surprising that the only people buying the watchphone were those who could afford to send someone else to queue on their behalf.
