A new concept design for a next-gen iPod has been revealed. From designer Tryi Yeh, the idea is that the small, square-ish device gets a slide up screen, possibly controlled via thermal sensors. The hideaway screen would not only protect the display from damage, but also make the player more pocket friendly when on the go.
Yeh says: "The iPod slide concept has been derived by combining the functionality of Apple’s iPod touch and the latest sliding technology, which is quite rare with Apple’s innovative products".
