As well as launching a speaker system for the iPod, Kensington has announced the launch of an entertainment dock to connect the iPod to your TV.

The Entertainment Dock 500 for the iPod enables users to share music and videos from fifth-generation iPods and photos from all colour iPods through a TV.

The device, which includes Apple's universal adapter, also comes with a radio frequency remote control that provides control of all the iPod menu functions from up to 15 metres away.

While it can be used with all dockable iPods to play music through a stereo, iPod video and photo users can take advantage of the Entertainment Dock 500's RCA cable to watch both videos and static images through their television.

The Entertainment Dock retails at £59.99 and is available now.
