We'll have more on this after its official launch on 8 September, but we've a brief vid to share with you for a new kind of gadget security coming soon.

According to the team behind the system: "nio is a Bluetooth security tag which links with your mobile phone, Blackberry, or PDA to create a first line of defence against the loss or theft of valuable items, such as briefcases, laptops, car keys, data sticks and even the phone itself".

Hit play to get a rough idea of what it's all about and we'll bring you more soon.
