Announced earlier in the month, Pocket-lint was on hand to get a hand on the new Sony Reader Pocket Edition ebook.

The new eReader will come with a 6-inch touchscreen display that works with both finger touch and a stylus pen for notes and from our quick play is incredibly responsive.

Costing around £259 in the UK when the go on pre-order starting Wednesday while in the US they will be priced at $299. Ouch.
