Sony has just launched a new ebook compete with a 7-inch screen and 3G connectivity at the New York Public Library and we were in the front row to grab a photoshoot with the new device.Sitting at the top of the company's ebook pile, the new model promises to bring the death to the paperback, newspaper and magazine within 10 years.
"In 10 years time kids will ask why we read books," commented Steve Haber, president of Sony's ebook division.
Although the company says no word about a UK launch for daily edition it has confirmed that the company will be launching the Reader Pocket Edition and the Reader Touch Editions announced earlier in the month in the US in the UK.
