If your little one is always trying to get its sticky fingers on your laptop, then you might be interested to know Oregon Scientific is offering laptop-style devices aimed at kids.

You can give your offspring their own portable PC-a-like with the Accelerator range. There's two models - the Junior for 3-years-plus and the Ultimate for 5-years-plus.

The Junior, at £24.99, offers eight topics of learning including vocabulary, maths, and memory to develop cognitive thinking, language development and motor skills and gets an "ABC" keyboard.

The more grown-up £49.99 Ultimate offers 10 activities and games and is designed to "kick start" a kid's IT understanding with a full QWERTY keyboard.

Both models are available now from Argos or direct from Oregon Scientific.
