It's being reported that Asus will be launching an Ion-based nettop conmputer called the "Eee Box" in September, according to "industry sources". It'll also be bringing out an Eee Top all-in-one PC, and two ultra-thin notebooks in its U/UX range. The Eee Top will feature a 20-inch display, a dual-core Intel Atom 330 CPU, and will cost around NT$22,000 - about £400. The Ion-based Eee Box will cost around half that - NT$10,000.
As well as those models, the long awaited computer-in-a-keyboard Eee Keyboard will be arriving as early as October - slightly later than previously rumoured. Initial pricing has put it at £400-$500, which converts to about £250-£300 at the time of writing.
