Sony offers trade-in cash for old TVs

Get money off a new BRAVIA

19 August 2009 16:43 GMT / By Duncan Geere

Sony has announced that it's offering consumers cash off a new telly if they trade in their old model with it. Participating customers could get up to £150 taken off the price of a BRAVIA television.

Of course, you won't get that amount off every model. The £150 trade-in only applies to 46" screen sizes and over. On the bright side, though you can trade in any television - "old or new, whether it works or not".

The initiative kicks off this Friday - 21 August. Cart your telly down to your nearest participating Sony stockist and demand your money off. To publicise the campaign, the company has roped in Alice Cooper for an advert, so keep an eye out for that on your new, or old, TV too.
