Lenovo introduces Ideacentre D400 server, and Q100 and Q110 nettops

Lenovo has unveiled a trio of home computing products. There's an Ideacentre D400 home server, and two nettops - the Q100 and Q110 models. The latter two are apparently the "world's thinnest" cut-down desktop PCs.

We'll start with the server though. The D400 supports up to 8TB of storage - which is about the same amount of data as 990 installations of Windows Vista - and can be expanded yet further with an eSATA port and 5 USB sockets.

The skinny Q100 and Q110 measure 6-inches, by 6.3-inches, with a thickness of just 0.7-inches. The Q100 carries Windows XP and has a single VGA port, but the Q110 can cope with 1080p content over HDMI. They both have Atom 230 CPUs and come with 1 or 2 GB of RAM, 160 or 250GB hard disks, ethernet and Wi-Fi.

All three products will be arriving next month. The D400 costs $499 (about £305), the Q100 is $250 (about £153) and the Q110 will cost $350 (around £214). Expect those prices to rise a little when they make it this side of the pond.
