Sony has announced that there is life in its PSP-3000 yet, even though its newer PSP Go hits the stores in October.

In an attempt to appeal to those who don't believe the new black is black, the PSP-3000 model will get two new colours, bringing the possible options up to seven.

New in the mix are Turquoise Green and Blossom Pink.

Due out in November you'll be able to buy the console on its own or as part of a bundled pack.

Turquoise Green with ship with LittleBigPlanet for example.

Sony says it will ship the new colours for the same price.
