Lite-On announces eTAU108 external DVD writer

Lite-On has announced an external DVD writer called the eTAU108. The company says that it's "ideal for users seeking to save files and playback data whilst away from the home or office".

Feature-wise, it's a top-loader, it has a lightweight 350g design, and it's powered and connected to your machine via a USB cable, which can also be stored underneath the device. The eTAU108 comes in Piano Black and Pearl White and is available from September. It costs £38.
