Radiohead tried it, now it seems the video game publisher Eidos is following in the same vein with the "Pay what you want" model for the latest version of Championship Manager.

  • It's all about the marketing. This is gonna be everywhere today. They may only make £3 per unit, but if you sell more than you would have done at £25. They will make their money back and more. Radiohead is said to have made around £2.50 per download, but sold 3 times more than their last CD. That's clever! Posted by indiecheese, United Kingdom
