Mozilla launches Test Pilot programme

13 August 2009 14:43 GMT / By Duncan Geere

Mozilla has dropped us word that it's launching a new "Test Pilot" program that'll allow participants to try the newest features first, in exchange for submitting feedback.

The scheme is launching with a Firefox 3.5 add-on that automatically allows to you join the programme and gives you notice for upcoming tests. You're than able to participate in the test, or ignore it. You'll also be able to quit tests or leave the platform, and your permission will be asked before any new software is installed.

The programme has opened with a user survey to get an idea of what the makeup of thep ilot communiyt is, and Mozilla promises that soon there'll be more specific feature tests. If you're interested, all you need to do is download the add-on.
