New pictures have leaked online of the BlackBerry Storm 2 running on the Vodafone - not Verizon - network.Snapped by German blog benezblog.de, the new and surprisingly not blurry snaps feature clear close ups of the new screen which includes the four touchscreen buttons and the info page that shows it will be kitted with both 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, a feature that was missing from the first outing.
Although not confirmed in this set of images, previous rumours have suggested the phone will get a 3.2-megapixel camera, HSDPA, a 360 × 480 resolution capacitive touchscreen and OS version 5.0.
This BlackBerry Storm 2 runs the BlackBerry OS 5.0.0.138.
Although nothing has been official confirmed, the new handset is expected to be launched in the UK on Vodafone and in the US on Verizon before the end of the year.
Vodafone announced the BlackBerry Storm at the beginning of October in 2008 giving it plenty of time to sell to would be Christmas shoppers looking to treat themselves.
