If you thought the idea of standing on a pair of scales in your living room made you look like an idiot, wait until you see what Nintendo has planned for the future.
A patent filed by Nintendo shows the plans for a small, inflatable cushion with a dock for the Wii remote that could see you ride your way around the living room in front of your dinner guests and fellow gamers as if you were on a Space Hopper.
The idea, supposedly, apart from making you look like a complete fool, is that when you rock or bounce the cushion, the controller is able to register the movement and react on screen accordingly.
Expect a range of games to appear in connection with the device that has you riding everything from a camel to a unicorn.
