HANNspree unveils the new ST series of HDTVs

11 August 2009 10:00 GMT / By Duncan Geere

HANNspree has announced a new range of HDTVs, titled "ST". The ST series has full 1080p HD, image processing technologies, a variety of input options and support for various aspect ratios, along with a 10-watt audio system.

HANNspree claims that its "X-Celerate" tech reduces response times so that blur doesn't affect your lovely sharp pictures, and that its X-Contrast funtionality delivers a 10000:1 contrast ratio. There's also digital noise reduction, 3D comb-filter and 3D deinterlace tech

Inputs include two HDMI 1.3 ports, SCART, component and composite, along with VGA support for plugging your laptop in. The 10-watt speakers can be EQed into standard, music, movie, speech and user customizable modes.

The first two TVs available will be the ST251 and the ST281, 25" and 28" respectively. The company reckons they "radiate exclusive quality", and they're suitable for wall mounting. The ST251 costs £280, and the ST281 is £310. Both are available now.
