Here's Nokia's XpressMusic 5530 handset in video form. We were lucky enough to get a hands-on play with the company's Cookie rival, and were impressed with the price, if not blown away by the features.

The handset will be showing up across most major networks on 11 August and will cost £129 on pay-as-you-go, or £15 per month on contract available from The Carphone Warehouse.

It's a solid touchscreen phone, with plenty of media features, but the lack of 3G is only just made up for by the inclusion of Wi-Fi.

To keep costs down and battery life up, there's no GPS or other high-end smartphone features. On the bright side, that should mean that unlike high-end smartphones, its battery will last longer than a day. We'll have to see how that turns out in the real world when we get a review model in, so stay tuned for that.
