TomTom for iPhone priced by retailer

Cost for new car kit leaked early

6 August 2009 12:07 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

A UK-based retailer has leaked pricing for TomTom's iPhone car kit-based satnav solution.

The as-yet officially unconfirmed price has been pegged at £113.85 by Handtec.com.

This cost covers the hardware - the windscreen docking station that offers a loudspeaker, a charging option and promises to enhance your GPS signal - as well as presumably the software download for the iPhone.

The TomTom iPhone solution is due to launch soon, with a "summer" timescale officially quoted, so we'll keep you posted with news.
