A new mobile phone tracking service is now available from - depending on what cost of bundle you go for - 15p per search.

From the company behind www.traceamobile.co.uk and www.mobilelocators.com, the new service is offering new tariffs that see, for example, a one-off payment of £19.98, the lowest tariff available, getting 15 "search credits".

The searches work across Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone and O2 and are said to be accurate to within 50 to 100 metres in mainland Great Britain in areas of good network coverage.
