Music download price comparison site launches

comparedownload.com

A website which aims to compare the prices of music downloads across a number of sites has launched in beta - the imaginatively named "comparedownload.com".

The site scans across a number of digital download merchants, including 7digital, We7, iTunes and Amazon. You can search for artists, or browse through a number of genres that include electronic, jazz, hip-hop, pop, RnB, rock, soundtrack and dance.

Other options let you watch videos from artists from YouTube, read reviews, buy tickets and share links to tracks with friends. The site makes money, we assume, from affiliate links with the download sites that it lists.

If you're a regular buyer of music downloads, it might be worth a look.
