Samson, the microphone manufacturer, has announced a new mic designed for laptop users to take advantage of Skype and Google Voice.

The Samson Go Mic is a USB condenser microphone with a built-in spring-loaded laptop mount or tabletop stand in a 2.5-inch by 1.5-inch package.

The microphone is supported by a multi-directional hinge; ensuring consumers record only the intended audio which can easily be tucked away when not in use says the company.

Available in black and white, the $59 microphone will be Plug and Play Mac and PC compatible with no drivers required when it becomes available later this month.
