Sennheiser launch CX-300 ear-canal earphones

Sennheiser has launched a new set of ear-canal earphones designed for the consumer rather than the professional

Sennheiser has launched a new set of ear-canal earphones designed for the consumer rather than the professional.

Based on the company's professional in-ear stage foldback monitors, Sennheiser claim that the new CX 300's will "sets new standards for sound quality, noise isolation and overall performance".

Furthermore, the company is claiming that because the headphones are so efficiency it will actually prolong battery life on iPods and all portable devices.

The CX 300 is supplied with three different sized ear adapters in soft, silicone rubber that ensure long-term comfort, as well as the an in-ear seal necessary both for ambient-noise reduction and deep-bass with an extended response (18 Hz-21 kHz).

Available in black or silver the Sennheiser CX 300 will cost £39.99.
