British loudspeaker company KEF has announced the release of a new 5.1 surround bundle, the KHT2005.3 K1. It's part of the company's KHT series, which it says "brings audiophile quality sound to affordable home entertainment".

The set comprises of four HTS2001.3 satellites and a HTC2001.3 centre speaker, both of which have metal dome tweeters and cast aluminium enclosures, and the company's KUBE-1 subwoofer.

The KUBE-1 has a 150W amplifier paired up with an 8-inch bass driver and an 8" active bass reflex unit. All that's packed into a sealed "space-saving" enclosure. The whole KHT2005.3 K1 bundle will cost £700 and should become available from 1 August.
