Birmingham City University has taken the iTunes plunge, offering educational content on Apple's online media store. With the arguably outdated aim to "reach a new generation of students", the uni now offers over 200 free podcasts on iTunes U with more promised.
Better late than never, Birmingham City University, which describes itself as "an innovator in hi-tech teaching" says content covers "arts, performance, design, the creative industries, health, the humanities, green issues and university life".
With a welcome message from the vice-chancellor professor leading the pack of podcasts, those with such inclinations can find more at itunes.bcu.ac.uk, or if you're not Apple-d up via www.bcu.ac.uk/podcasts.
